The service and food were excellent. The chicken Caesar salad was so tasty! I especially enjoyed the decor and atmosphere. I felt like I had been transported back in time to the 1950's.

Went there expecting homemade food and atmosphere. The atmosphere was good but the pimento and cheese definitely was not homemade. Tasted like Mrs strattons from a grocery store. The staff were friendly and the best part was the brownie sundae. Won't go back for the food, maybe the ice cream.

Great local restaurant/ ice cream shop that is not too far from the Unclaimed Baggage Center. They serve 19 flavors of ice cream (mayfield) for great prices. On Thursdays, if you are 65yrs or older you can get up to 2 scoops of ice cream for 5 Cents per scoop. You can not beat that. Loved great hometown vibe off this local shop. I will go again if I am near Scottsboro.

Payne's is a great place for a quick bite or lunch with the family. Their menu includes: hot dogs, burgers, reuben sandwiches, and salads. Lots of delicious ice cream choices to pick from for dessert! Love this place!
